Whew!!!

Here is my little corner of the world. My sister has wanted me to take a photo of my house, and I always tease that I will get a picture of 'my half of it' seeing as how we are renting part of a duplex right now. Above is my half. It's actually nice and new inside and has made me realized just how much crap we really have since most of my old house is being stored in the basement of this one! Someday when I move into my own house again, I will have a store load of decorative things that will seem brand new to me again!
Soooo....life has been crazy again, like it is for most people right now. It seems like there is no time to slow down. I have taken pictures for the week in the life project but haven't loaded them into my computer yet. This house photo was the first one I took from that week. I'll post more in a bit.
The kids have a month left of this school year. In one way it seems like it has gone slow. Moving in the middle of a school year makes the time we spent in the last district seem like a lifetime ago. We've fallen into routine so well with the new schools that it feels like they started the year there. But.... every now and then I think about it that I will have a 7th grader, and Trevor will be starting middle school next year. Middle school in our district starts in 5th grade. Trevor and I were already talking about switching classes and getting a locker. He thinks that will be pretty cool. I can't imagine having two kids in middle school. So I think back to the definition in AZ of 7th and 8th grade and it makes me feel ok. ;) Technically they all would have been in elementary school this past year in AZ.
Matthew will be in 3rd grade. I remember Trevor starting 3rd grade, and it really didn't seem that long ago. I have a hard time thinking of Matthew being as big as Trevor was when he was in 3rd grade. Probably because he's my youngest. Ugh, it makes my mommy heart break.
Kohl's is still going well. I admit...I enjoy my job. I have been working a lot of hours trying to get caught up with some bills and whatnot around here.
A random thought: You know you've lived in Kentucky for awhile when the letters "UK" no longer make you think of the United Kingdom, but of the University of Kentucky instead. Those people are rabid fans. I bet there are even more blue cars in the state of Kentucky than anywhere else in the world. Each one with some sort of UK sticker or plate on it. You know, because your car color has to match your UK stuff.
I'll post some more photos soon....after I get some housework and laundry done. Plus in a few days I will post a layout with a sneek peek at Karla's new kit. I love it.... and had ideas to put it to use right away.
This post kind of went all over the place didn't it?
- out.
